You can set WhatsApp notifications on the lock screen even if the screen is locked. To enable off-screen WhatsApp notifications, go to WhatsApp Settings and select Notifications, and from here you can enable popup notifications when the screen is off.
However, for phones with an Android 4.4 operating system or lower, open Settings and select Lock Screen. From here, check the Custom Widgets box. Now lock your phone screen and swipe sideways. Remove automatic downloads

Block Contact
You can block contacts on WhatsApp from your chats. You can block in two ways. Go to the chat of the contact you want to block and from there click on the menu button at the top. There will be a More option at the bottom. When clicked, the Block option will appear. On the other hand, from the second WhatsApp menu, you go to Settings and from there click on Account. There will be a privacy option. When clicked, the block contact option will appear. As soon as you enter it, a message will appear on the screen about how to block. The added contact icon will appear on the top right side of the screen. On clicking on it all the contacts will come and you can individually block whoever you want. Here a block list will be created so that later you can unblock chats with just one click.
Wallpaper setting
If you are tired of seeing the same type of wallpaper on WhatsApp then there is also an option to change the wallpaper. You can change it by opening any chat or you can also set a new wallpaper in the settings
Use old WhatsApp from new number
Maybe you don’t know that you can use the same WhatsApp even after changing the number. This means that WhatsApp running on your cellphone number, you can use the same as other numbers too. Contacts and media files available on your WhatsApp will also be available even if you change the number. Not only that, you can also stay in touch with WhatsApp chat history and groups.
To change your number on WhatsApp, you have to go to Settings and select the Account option, then select the Change Number option, here your old number that you used WhatsApp will be asked for and the new number will be asked below. Now you enter the new number and click Next, then the process of transferring WhatsApp to the new number begins. After you enter the verification code, you will be asked for one or two approvals and your WhatsApp will be redirected to the new number.

Backup Chat / Backup & Restore to Local Storage
You can take a backup of your WhatsApp chats as well as restore them to a new phone. In order to take a chat backup, you first need to go to WhatsApp settings. Select Chat Settings here. You will get a chat backup option in chat settings, clicking on it will backup your WhatsApp chats. You can take a backup on the microSD card or on the phone’s internal storage.
At the same time, to restore WhatsApp chats on a new phone, you must first enter the backup data on the new phone. You can carry data on your new phone from your old phone’s microSD card or transfer it via Bluetooth and USB. Now, after installing WhatsApp, the Restore option will appear in it, if you select it, then all the data in the WhatsApp backup will be restored to the new cellphone.
Chat and Backup Media Backup in Google Drive
WhatsApp users can now back up WhatsApp messages as well as media content on Google Drive. Taking WhatsApp backup on Google Drive is very easy. Users can back up their WhatsApp by going to Settings and clicking on the Chats and Media option. In this case, you can take backups by day, week, or month. Apart from that, with Google Drive, we can transfer Whatsapp data to a new cellphone. The condition is that you must use the same Google email address on the new cellphone.
Delete Account
If you want, you can also delete your WhatsApp account. You have to go to Settings from the menu and from there select the Account option. Here you will see an option to delete my account. On clicking it, your phone number will be asked at the bottom. After entering the phone number, clicking delete my account below will destroy your WhatsApp account.
